The Big Move ... from cot to bed

We bought this cute little mini antique bed for Tyler at the auction and couldn't wait to transfer her. I must admit it was like having a new born baby again - she kept on falling out the bed, followed by a confused cry & I had to tuck her back in.

Tyler loved our little family outing to the aquarium in Durban, she was absolutely mesmerised by all ocean creatures ... the fishies, turtles, dolphins & sharks.

Country Bumpkins Playgroup

Tyler's first day at play school - January 2011

This is the best little country school ever! There are only about 12 children in the school which makes it very personal & comfortable. It's got a huge playground with all sorts of jungle gym apparatuses. The theme goes as follows:

Monday... Baker Day

Wednesday ... Art Day

Friday ... Farm Friday

feeding the mini mountain goats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, picking seasonal fruit & collecting eggs on the farm

THE BEACH ...

A couple of months ago we went to the South Coast for the weekend and decided to take Aunty Kel with us. We managed to do a bit of shopping while Daddy babysat and most importantly we spent time on the beach. Tyler loved running around on the sand with the wind in her hair. She was a bit apprehensive when it came to the cold water and big waves!
